FRAGRANCE NOTES
DESCRIPTION
Autumn in Guangxi is inspired by Southern China in harvest season, when jasmine and osmanthus fill the air and the warmth of summer begins to soften.
The opening is floral yet grounded. Philippines oud oil sets an immediate depth, smooth and gently resinous, carrying jasmine and frangipani as they bloom in warm air. A quiet lift of grapefruit cuts through the richness, adding clarity and light without sharpness.
As the fragrance settles, the heart reveals its character. Osmanthus emerges with its familiar apricot-leather nuance, joined by rare Kinam from Southern China, lending an incense-like richness that feels both historic and intimate. Wild Thai oud adds structure, while red champaca introduces a creamy, golden warmth, binding the florals to the woods.
In the dry-down, the composition becomes softer and more contemplative. Iris smooths the edges, lending a powdered restraint, while white ambergris and musk bring a subtle, skin-like warmth. The base deepens slowly with labdanum, supported by Laos and Borneo oud oils, leaving a lingering impression of resin, earth, and fading blossoms.

The Attar Tradition
A Tradition of Attars
Autumn in Guangxi was conceived as a portrait of a specific moment: Southern China in harvest season, when the air carries the scent of jasmine, osmanthus, and cooling earth. The fragrance does not attempt to recreate this literally — it distils the feeling of it.
The choice to open with Philippines oud oil was deliberate. It provides an immediate sense of place — smooth, gently resinous, and warm — before the florals begin to unfold. Jasmine and frangipani bloom naturally over this foundation, lifted by a quiet note of grapefruit that keeps the opening from becoming heavy.
The heart is the fragrance's most distinctive element. Osmanthus, with its characteristic apricot-leather nuance, is joined by rare Kinam from Southern China — an ingredient that carries centuries of history in a single drop. Wild Thai oud adds structure, and red champaca brings a creamy, golden warmth that binds everything together as the fragrance moves toward its contemplative base.

The Layering Ritual
Wear Them Together
The ancient Middle Eastern tradition of fragrance layering — two scents, one signature.
Why They Work Together
Autumn in Guangxi Attar’s jasmine and osmanthus notes find a luminous counterpart in Ultimate Leyte’s jasmine-like indolic brightness and red-berry richness, creating an intoxicating floral and fruity harmony. The lush incense-like agarwood smoke in Ultimate Leyte deepens the white ambergris and musk base of Autumn in Guangxi, evoking a refined Southern China harvest enveloped in Philippine forested intensity.
How to Layer
Dab the Attar to warm pulse points first. Allow it to settle on the skin, then apply the Oud Oil over the top to deepen the base.
