FRAGRANCE NOTES
DESCRIPTION
At its heart rests an aged, fermented Chinese oud oil, soaked and distilled traditionally. It unfolds with a singular, musky tone — rich, contemplative, and endlessly intriguing. An exquisite Rose de Mai, slowly macerated with precious Tibetan musk grains, forms its devoted counterpart, while a hint of white ambergris lends poise and quiet radiance to the composition. A warming Mysore sandal oil adds a creamy heart as it transitions through its mid range.
A dark frankincense extract weaves through the structure, imparting a refined smokiness, softened by a trace of orris absolute that introduces a subtle, powdered floral elegance. Caraway, cinnamon, and clove — measured with meticulous restraint — illuminate the attar with a gentle, delectable warmth, creating a finish that lingers with understated opulence.

“Chandan Regale’s soft smoke, gentle florals, and cinnamon spice mirror Yunnan Ghaliya’s dark frankincense, clove, and rose de Mai heart notes, weaving a warm, honeyed warmth into the musky depth. The Attar Tradition
A Tradition of Attars
Yunnan Ghaliya takes its name from the Yunnan province of Southern China — a region of extraordinary biodiversity, where ancient trade routes once carried silk, tea, and precious aromatics across the mountains. The aged Chinese oud at its heart is a material of singular character: fermented, musky, and endlessly contemplative.
The pairing of this oud with Rose de Mai macerated in Tibetan musk grains is the composition's defining gesture. Rose de Mai is perhaps the most prized of all rose absolutes — harvested in May from the fields of Grasse, its petals contain a complexity that no other rose can match. Macerating it with Tibetan musk grains over an extended period creates a material of extraordinary depth and sensuality, one that forms a perfect counterpart to the oud's contemplative character.
The spices — caraway, cinnamon, clove — are used with meticulous restraint. They are not there to dominate, but to illuminate: to bring warmth and life to the composition without overwhelming its essential character. This is the art of the traditional attar maker, and Yunnan Ghaliya honours that tradition in every drop.

The Layering Ritual
Wear Them Together
The ancient Middle Eastern tradition of fragrance layering — two scents, one signature.
Why They Work Together
Silani Qadeem’s creamy, fermented sweetness and ripe tropical fruit nuances beautifully echo the fermented Chinese oud in Yunnan Ghaliya, while its wet leaves and aged wood deepen the musky and frankincense base. The velvety rainforest character of Silani Qadeem elevates the rose de Mai and Tibetan musk heart, creating an opulent harmony of lush, matured oud and floral grace.
How to Layer
Dab the Attar to warm pulse points first. Allow it to settle on the skin, then apply the Oud Oil over the top to deepen the base.
