An exceptionally clean, fruit-driven Oud with a powerful resinous opening and an evolving tropical character.

The opening is immediate and commanding, with deep orange-green resins and the unmistakable freshness of young coconut, freshly cut from the tree. Green sugarcane and split bamboo bring a crisp, almost sappy quality, accompanied by intriguing vegetal nuances of fresh beetroot and sprouts. Beneath this vivid opening is a polished, woody depth that gives the oil both presence and structure.

As the oil develops, the resinous intensity begins to soften, revealing a beautifully expressive fruit character. Fresh apricot, kiwi and dragon fruit emerge, gradually joined by richer orange and tropical fruit nuances. There is a remarkable naturalness to the fruit, becoming increasingly vivid on the skin, almost reminiscent of a concentrated tropical fruit juice.

The heart of the oil brings a particularly appealing interplay of honeyed apricot and polished wood. With movement, delicate waves of sweet fruit rise above the smooth, resinous backdrop, creating a character that is both fresh and warmly rounded.

Further into the dry-down, the profile becomes reminiscent of dried apricot, freshly cut mango and the subtle sweetness of sugarcane juice. The heavier resinous and polished facets gradually recede, leaving a creamy, clean and wonderfully persistent tropical fruit character.

A fascinating young Oud, distinguished by its clarity, vibrant fruit character and remarkable development on the skin. Its youthful resinous structure makes its future particularly exciting; with time and maturation, one can only anticipate how much further its character will evolve.
