Ceylon Royale Exclusif
This oil was distilled from sinking-grade shavings and dust—heavier material with a higher resin content, which you really pick up in the profile. No fluff wood in the mix. Just dense, properly infected material that’s been carefully sorted before distillation.
The result is a clean, dry oud with a leathery backbone and subtle notes of smoke and warm spice. There’s a faint sweetness—almost like sun-dried dates or pipe tobacco—but it stays in the background. No barnyard, no overpowering funk. Just a well-balanced, grounded oil that begins loud and eventually over time forms a much closer aura.
You can tell the distillation was done with restraint—copper pot, slow and low. Nothing rushed. It’s not trying to impress with intensity, but it’s the kind of oil you come back to because it feels honest. A good example of what Sri Lankan agarwood can offer when the right material and method come together.
